‘2nd Annual LW
Poker Run’;
an organized event where participants, on horseback,
must visit five
checkpoints,
drawing a
playing card
at each one. The object is to have the best
poker hand
at the end of the run. The event has a time limit,
however the participants are not timed—winning is
purely a matter of chance. Entry fee, prizes given,
raffle. The’ Run’
will begin at noon and will end at 3pm. Awards
ceremony to follow.

Inspired
by her seven horses, three cats, two dogs and
miniature donkey (many of which are rescues), author
